Industrial Activity
• Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is one of the major PSU located at Sunabeda, 15 km from Koraput town.
• National Aluminium Company Ltd. (NALCO) another important PSU mining and refinery complex at Damanjodi also has a significant contribution to the economy of Koraput district. Around 2,500 engineers & technicians are engaged in the process of extraction of Alumina from Bauxite.
